“While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.”
Genesis 8:22
A seed is what something will be in the future, but that you can handle now. God’s plan and future for your life is so big that you can’t handle all of it at once. That’s why God gives you a seed! He’ll give you a dream, a thought, something small in your hands to do. It’s important that you then take that seed and plant it into God’s Kingdom so you can experience a harvest that’s better than anything you could imagine!
Today, when God asks you to give something, don’t be reluctant. Let your seed enter the ground so you can experience a “tomorrow” that’s greater than today.
Father, we thank You for Your strength and might. You’re faithful and You’re always present. Today, we're planting our seed in the ground. Everything that belongs to You, we will give. We won’t eat our seed. We want the future You have for us. In Jesus’ name, amen!
