“I am the light of the world.” (John 8:12)
Light is the ultimate power of all material things. It is at the center of all. When you were born again, you were reconnected to the light Source—the light of life; the light energy of God; life.
But if you aren’t walking in the light intentionally and staying out of darkness, you can go to church every day, and you might occasionally get a little glimpse of light here and there, but it’ll quickly leave you. The first time you get under pressure, you’ll walk away from the light.
Jesus says He is the Light of the world. To let Him be the Light to you, you’ve got to stay in it with a determined purpose.
As you read the way Jesus is your I AM, take the verse and make it personal in your relationship with Him.
