“I am the vine.” (John 15:5, NKJV)
He is our Vine. What does that mean? Jesus continues, “You are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."
“Without Me you can do nothing.” Why? Because there’s no anointing without Him. In other words, who bears the fruit, the vine or the branch? The vine enables the branch to bear fruit. In the same way, He enables you to bear fruit. What kind of fruit? Healing, prosperity, overflow, strong family relationships, promotion, increase, love, peace, joy (to name a few).
To be connected to the Vine, you must abide in Him and He in you. That is a connection that can only come from spending enough time in the Word and in prayer that the Word becomes more real on the inside of you than anything else on this planet.
Spend some time meditating on the ways Jesus is your I AM.
